Old work
Design has come a long way in 20 years and photos of the truly impressive commissions for architects, 5 star hotels, Australian embassies, international furniture shows, have unfortunately been lost amongst the moving and career changes.

A 'Zaisu', a legless Japanese chair for use when sitting on the floor at a Japaneses low table called Zataku.
Commissioned chair
A frivolous design with inlaid shaped granitebought by a prominant Australian actor
Playing with joints,angles, sliding dovetailing and joints, it sent me mad in the workshop but the result was highly appreciated by the owner.
Simple filing cabinet, the timber speaks for itself.

Drawer orgnisers made from Silky Oak for the Park Lane hotel in Sydney ( we made over 700 of these little blighters)
A little stunt I would do to show the strength of the Australian hardwoods. The chair is made from Spotted Gum, a timber which is used for axe handles. I am balancing on the equivalent of two axe handles, more than enough strength!
